Hi everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I have recently been diagnosed as aspie. I'm 48 and have always wondered why I am different to most other people. Now I know why I think this forum will be of great help as in my area there are no support groups. As an aside my wife has also recently discovered she also has aspergers!

Welcome :)

That must have been quite a surprise for the both of you! Many of us, who get a diagnoses later in life, feel it can be a relief to finally have some answers to many things that have puzzled us before.

Our members are quite friendly and helpful here, so feel free to take a look around, and ask any questions that you may have.

Since you're relatively new to all this, I also recommend checking our recommended reading section, for suggestions for books on AS: Resources | AspiesCentral.com

Welcome to the AC world :)

You found a great place here...
