We refused Red Cross to stay w/neighbor, one week later we were in our current home next door to the house. The changes have been so many he has sensory overload meltdown. While trying to wash at the Laundromat his tantrum was severe so police had to bring us home him in handcuffs.
At home he is hyperactive walking from room to room taking raw meat out of freezer to eat, too often soils and hides waste out of reach to smell up the place. Has a quiet affection most of the time until fit and tantrum. He responds well to the haldoperidol at 12 hours but have to chase w/St John's Wort now at 300Mg each 4 waking hours. Makes him drowse and during sleep if soils he handles.
If you know of Non-Verbal Atutistic whom had SOM I would love to hear about it.
My hardest challenge is keeping him in a chair so I can type. Keeping him where I can keep and eye and out of mischief.
