Obsessed with Wikipedia obituaries

I check Wikipedia's "recent deaths" page very often, reporting any death that I think might be significant. It annoys my parents. I guess I just like having something to report.

I now try to add to Wikipedia's current events page. I even try to contribute archaeological reports (I love history).

I'm always looking at people's last words. My friend said it was depressing but I find it fascinating.

I love reading obituaries. It's always the first section I go to when I open a newspaper. Some are really boring, but it's always fun when you come across the eccentric ones you would never have otherwise heard about. British papers seem to have a knack for choosing cool people.

Wikipedia's "recent deaths" page isn't like the obits you find in the paper. It's just a list of people who have died in the last month.
