Well, I'm Curtis. Bit of a hardcore Aspie - I pretty much suffer most of the typical symptoms at extreme levels. At the same time I'm kinda proud to be an Aspie. I know most people on here think of Asperger's as some kind of restraining condition that needs to be overcome. Personally I think being an Aspie simply makes me incredibly unique. I was diagnosed with an IQ of 125 (95th percentile) and I barely try and still manage to do 1st year Honours Math without sweating. So I think that AS is not a curse, it is something of a segregation performed by nature. I've learned to deal with, overcome, or tolerate everything that makes me different in uncomfortable ways. Wouldn't mind making some local Aspie friends so we could hang out. The founder of the WLU Go Club is an Aspie like me (I sometimes coach him on Go strategies and such) so we're able to talk about a lot of things face to face rather than this bland internet approach. Not that I dislike the internet (I kinda need it to meet non-local Aspies) but there is just something so much cooler about collecting together and forming a 'team' =)
