I am a little curious:

Who has portrayed the best characterization of secret agent 007, James Bond... and why do you think that?

Who was the first person you saw being James Bond... Skip this if it was also the answer to the above question!

Whom do you wish to see play the role of James Bond in the future... what makes you think they would be a good choice?

This last question is optional as some people haven't thought that much about it ; ]
Who would play the supporting roles alongside this James Bond of yours?

Sean Connery IS James Bond.

End of line..............................................................................................

I'm inclined to say Connery is the best bond... but I'm not sure why. Maybe it's that he brings a certain vibe that others didn't... I will say however, that I like the current Bond movies a lot, but I don't know if it should be a Bond movie. Craig as James Bond looks way more athletic in the action scenes... I don't remember Connery doing parkour scenes in Africa, lol. Maybe it's that the new movies are more cinematographic, less "supervillain" and less about gadgets, something which I always liked to see as a kid. Seeing what new toys Bond had.

I'm not entirely sure which Bond I saw first. Either Roger Moore or Connery.

Whom I wish to see play James Bond? I have no clue... The rock? lol.. no I have no clue. It seems that there's a certain kind of actor in mind to play bond. A while ago I read an article they are actually considering a non-caucasian James Bond. This in turns makes me wonder if James Bond is a person or actually an identity. If it's a person, the continuity is messed up... and if it's an identiy, I don't see how 006 should hold a grudge towards 007... since they'll be a new 007 if that one died.

As for supporting roles... looking at the villains and bondgirls in the past everything is possible. But I guess for some tongue-in-cheek, having Mike Myers portray a villain would be hilarious... or even twin villains. Not necessarily that he should be a funny character though, that would take away the setting and tone of Bond movies.

Favourite Bond: Roger Moore

Worst Bond: A toss-up between Connery (hairy, greasy-looking & a bit of a jerk) & that guy who looks like a ferret.

The new guy: Daniel whazzisname...jury's still out.

Who I'd like to see in the role: possibly Takeshi Kaneshiro downloadTK.jpg It would be kind of neat to see the role played by someone from a different culture. A young Denzel Washington could do it. Bradley Cooper might pull it off too...

The thing is though, they're all actors taking direction. They act as they are told to a great degree. So the job they do is more indicative of others than their selves. Unless of course, say Jack Nicholson is ever contracted for the role...LOL.

Clearly the films deviated from the start from what author Ian Fleming had in mind. And only got more campy with time...especially when Roger Moore had the title role. IMO Daniel Craig appears to be closest to Fleming's version of Bond.

Somewhat unrelated, but that screenshot just reminded me that House of Flying Daggers is a real feast for the eyes. As for a potential Bond... Kevin Spacey as an older gentleman-y Bond. That might be pushing it though. Bradley Cooper is good, but I'm not sure if he has the necessary ferociousness, if you will?
