Peach cobbler dump in place recipe

I hope something good happens to you today

I saw a Gif for a cobbler recipe, 29 ounces peaches with juice (two cans) one box yellow cake mix, 1/2 cup butter in slices. 45 minutes at @375*

I decided to attempt my own variation with cinnamon swirl cake/muffin mix and some extra brown sugar and cinnamon.

I used:
2- 15 ounce sliced peaches from a can
2 pie tins
1 box cake mix
Cinnamon
Brown sugar
Butter 1/2 cup sliced. (I still have some left over.)

pics for steps

I will update with info and photos when it’s done cooking (burning)

45 minutes at 375 degrees, I turned off oven and let them cool on the rack in the still warm oven for 10 minutes. I checked to see if cooked through and it is!!! Tasterrific!
thankfully I had the foresight to put extra pans below in the event of a boil over of juice, and they caught a lot of spillage. Be sure to use something to catch any spillage to prevent a fire!!!

At first I thought the recipe said to use 29 cans of peaces instead of a 29 oz can of peaches!

My mom brought me over some of her French apple cobbler this week. It was delicious. Maybe I will try out this recipe sometime. And put some vanilla ice cream on it.:yum:

You can use any cake or cookie mix with this recipe, I’m going to try sugar cookie mix tomorrow. I love apple cobbler and want to try that next. I’ll fix the instructions.

That looks sooo delicious, will make it very soon, heading to my freezer to grab blackberries and gonna make blackberry muffins.

I love peach cobbler! Years ago my service manager's wife used to make really good peach cobbler and send to work with him. We used to work on the equipment at a ice cream plant that was close. We got along well with the manager, so one of us would take a big slice to him and trade it for a couple of boxes of ice cream. Then at lunch time we would have cobbler and ice cream. Us field guys always tried to arrange our schedule so that we were in the shop at lunchtime on those days.

DANG! What a way to torture us stuck on lockdown with no access to immediate food! Hahahaha. This was so great. I loved it. Food porn at its best :-)

I made it tonight with sugar cookie mix and canned fruit cocktail in one pan and sugar cookie with pineapple in another pan. With cookie mix it takes about an hour at 375 degrees.
