Phone Recommendations?

My Samsung phone died yesterday, won't turn on and won't even acknowledge that the charger is in.

I need a new smartphone and only have £100 to spend, are there any decent phones out there I could get in my price range? Amazon have a few but they're either brands I've never heard of and don't know if I can trust, or brands like Motorola but the phones have poor reviews.

sylar,it really depends on what your looking for in the phone.

my first smart phone was/is a EE rook [got it from the EE store at the trafford centre] and it was £20 as long as i paid £10 extra to get credit, it is a very good smart phone and it does the job and the network isnt bad in my area-the 4g never drops in my apartment but my support staff have constant trouble with their 4g dropping.
,i have games and apps on it as i use it as an autism/AAC device, but ive replaced it with a android tablet [got that second hand for £25].

i think i recommend it if your after a good bargin.

My family is picking a phone up from Argos now, an LG K3. It was a choice between than and a Bush B4, but they went with the LG because the Bush was dual sim and apparently that's bad?

I don't know or care much about phones, I've only ever bought one before and it was awful, the rest have been handed to me from family members when they buy a new one. I don't use the cameras or play music or videos on them. All I care about is that the screen is a decent size and good quality, it's fast and can run the apps I want without any issue.

Reading the specs of both phones myself, I'm already regretting it as the LG has a lower battery life, half the memory and a smaller screen that's only 480 resolution where the Bush is 720. The Bush was only £10 more.

honestly smartphones are a waste of time it would be better to get the Nokia thats been reissued
and a tablet or pc .
none of them are reliable i had a Motorola and an Ericsson not TOUCHSCREENs but would have lasted years it was my choice to be seduced by TOUCHSCREEN

Not all of them are a waste of time. I have a Samsung Galaxy A5. I got it second hand from Game as my Galaxy S4 died a death. Not as fancy as the S4, but the battery on the A5 (mine is an older one, not the sparkly new A5) is amazing. Does pretty much everything I'd want it too, although I do miss the notification LED. I suppose it's down to each person as to what they can afford, and what they want to be able to use the phone for. I'd like a swankier one, but they're just so bloody expensive. I have to say though, I am very interested in the Nokia 6. Has had overall very good reviews, and certainly cheaper than the most popular brands. I never would have thought I'd own a Nokia again :p
