I have no idea how to explain anything that's been happening for the past three days!!

The other day, Maddog and I were playing Madden, and we had a vacuum cleaner sitting straight up; when I sat down, Maddog said he heard someone stepping over the recliner and kicking the vacuum cleaner, and I saw it fall over!! Then yesterday, I was upstairs while Maddog was watching TV, and I heard his voice call my name really intently. I went downstairs, and he was taking a nap on the couch; I asked if he called me and he said no, he didn't!

And, this one literally just happened to me. I walked upstairs and I saw my mother making her way into my little sister's room. CLEAR AS DAY I knew I was looking at my mother, I could see the difference in light and all, except, HER STEPS DIDN'T MAKE ANY NOISE. She went inti Sophia's room, but when I looked around the corner to see which direction she went, SHE WASN'T IN THERE AT ALL. Sophia said she did not see her go in there at all. I went to my mother's room and there she was watching TV on her phone, and when I told her about this she says she hasn't gotten up at all.

I know I am not freaking crazy because that image was wearing the exact same shirt she was wearing, same hair and it even had glasses on!!

What is going on with my house?! What's happening?! Is my house haunted?! Have I been leaving psi around the house and forgetting to disperse it?! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME EXPLAIN I AM FREAKING OUT AND NOW THERE IS PRESSURE ON MY FOREHEAD MY HEAD HURTS AAAHH SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON!!

I've had some really weird / unexplained things happen to me that I really like to block out most of the time, but that definitely sounds like a potential hallucination. I'd be setting up ghost cameras and trying to capture EVPs if that happened to me, though!

How does one leave psychic energy around though, just out of curiosity? I've never heard of that before

it´s definitely your mind. cannabis can cause hallucinations or psychosis. first I thought maddog would gaslight you maybe, but when it is also happened with your mother...

I always feel a little weird talking about this stuff as I figure most people will think I've gone off the rails, but... Trying to pretend that nothing happens around me would be *deeply* stupid at this point. I still feel silly though, but heck with it.

What I've learned is that just because it's scary, just because it's freaky, just because it doesnt fit what you know, doesnt necessarily mean it's bad. It just means it's an unknown, and we're naturally just scared of that sometimes.

Now that being said, dont let yourself just jump to conclusions. It's always important to take a breath and analyze whatever happened. THEN decide what to do.

I say that even as someone that once outright sprinted away from something I'd rather not think about. Haha. I do contradict myself sometimes, dont I?

Regardless, just try to calm down... I'm sure you'll be just fine.

No, no this isn't somebody in the house messing with me. I LITERALLY, PHYSICALLY SAW my mother walk into my little sister's room, she lifted her purse over the doorknob so she wouldn't bump it, then stepped onto my little sister's mattress and then she was gone. I went to my mother's room and there she was on her phone. She had never gotten up.

I don´t know if someone with hallucinations would recognize that this would be hallucatinations or not. I´m no medical doctor. but the only other explanation would be that it would be something supernatural. that´s matter of taste, but I don´t believe in that, so I can´t give you advice in that case.

it´s something different, but I know from fears that things can feel very real, even they are not.

without supernatural explaining a person can not just disappear. maybe with futuristic technic, but no technic we have so far or which is known. and I doubt that your mother would have such futuristic things.

I've practiced PSI ever since i was 14, so it definitely took me a while to fully figure out and understand it, but once you learn how to control it to where you can focus on its presence or position without having to look at it or be in the same area, you can do things like leave PSI balls/spheres that cause an alarm/alert to go off in your mind when someone touches it, like create a ball and program it to go to another room and stay there, and when someone touches it, a "ding!" plays in your head.

I kinda figured the idea of hallucinations would come up, but that's to be expected LOL. That's the thing though is I've never HAD any hallucinations outside of being put to sleep in the dentist office to have my wisdom teeth/zombie teeth taken out, and those went away when I woke up.

It doesn't mean you're 'crazy' or anything (that's an outdated term), but seeing something that isn't there is usually just called a hallucination, regardless of the origin. You'd need a professional to get to the root of why you've had one, but that's just the common word for it nonetheless. Definitely not paranormal, unless it can be replicated IRL and someone else can see / hear it, or a video recorder can capture it.

I usually verify my evidence in one or more ways or else discount it as a potential bias, personally, because the mind can obviously play tricks on us. Maybe now is a good time to see a doctor?

I second this. The other day I was reading some of your content and was thinking the exact same thing. It's known and researched that pot is making delusions and schizo symptoms worse. However if you quit the effects will reverse. If you're using it for stress there's specific medicated type and other natural remedies. Valerian is much more effective and the strongest I tried. However wouldn't be suggested to women on the pill as it can exacerbate some hormones, as a side-effect. Linden tea is very effective too.

There is and was never any proof of ghost existence. In order for anything to interact with our world there has to be traces and ways to measure it. The TV programs\shows we're familiar with were set up and staged, you can look into it.

That's the thing, I DO have a doctor, a therapist. But I'm starting to think I may actually have to go into official hypnotherapy for this to get to the bottom of it. My therapist is good at making me forget a bad day, but now I'm gonna need something more intensive than simply a trip to the beach.

Outside the realm of hallucinations, adolescents in the household can sometimes be unconsciously capable of creating bursts of psychokinetic energy that merely resembles poltergeist activity.

Just a thought to mull around- not intended as an answer.

Even though I'm a hardcore skeptic, beliefs like this (and hearing about experiences) really fascinate(s) me!
I won't hijack this thread, but if anyone wants to talk ghosts I'll be in yours in a heartbeat

Huh. Now that is an interesting and rare viewpoint.

Usually when I see someone that would declare themselves a "true skeptic" (which is usually the word combination I see) that person will show this by simply yelling at others about how incorrect and stupid they are (fortunately this doesnt really happen on THIS forum, but in most places.... yeah).

Paranormal is anecdotal.
Many people claim to have witnessed it or had experiences with psi.
I've had many experiences most would not believe either.
Most of mine have been witnessed by others, recorded (evp, photographed,
or heat/ infra-red photography), but it is still anecdotal in mainstream science.
Some call it Fringe or Metaphysical. I call it mainly individual beliefs usually
from culture or teachings from childhood. Most tend to believe what is taught
to them as a child. A few form their own opinions when grown from what ever
they choose to believe in. Science, religions, or self- derived belief.

So, we have the gambit. From atheists to worshippers of various Gods, Angels,
and demons. C'est la vie.
I've never used cannabis or had Schizophrenia, so I don't know how they affect you.
But psi experiences have been commonplace. I've never been afraid.
Our five senses are a spectrum also. Just 'cause you can't see it, don't mean it
ain't there.

Take care and see what your therapist has to say. They would know best if your
conditions could cause this or not. Otherwise, you are able to form your own
beliefs. Same as anyone else.

I don't talk about paranormal stuff because of how controversial it is and how I think everyone would laugh at me, even though it is one of my special interests.

But what you're describing definitely sounds like it could've been triggered by the marijuana. When I was in college I used to hang out with some people who smoked weed and did LSD (I didn't participate) and they had some really intense hallucinations when they were high. One of my friends actually told me that sometimes marijuana is cut with other substances that can cause people to hallucinate or trigger psychotic episodes.
I had a friend who never experienced psychosis again after quitting marijuana.

I also know people who have claimed to have hallucinated when they were drunk. I have never had that experience when drunk, but I guess if you get plastered enough, who knows.

I actually have that COMT gene, which explains why I've had very faint hallucinations on marijuana myself. I haven't smoked since 19 because a very warped version of Limp Bizkit's Rollin' was playing through my head and I couldn't stop it (it's hilarious in retrospect, but at the time I was pretty concerned I was going to go schizophrenic).

Apparently for those of us with the gene, smoking frequently can trigger psychosis.... sometimes permanently.
Be careful.
