So glad this community exists! I am not an Aspie but my brother is (diagnosed), his daughter is autistic and my grandfather was quite obviously somewhere on the AS spectrum, as well, I have a few friends on the spectrum (diagnosed and undiagnosed). Interestingly, my brother and I share many personality traits, sensitivities and quirks, heightened in him and muted in me which makes me wonder about AS as a point on a spectrum. I'm here to learn more about my family and my friends, how we're alike and different, how I might understand them better. I am very pleased to meet you.

Welcome Chawke! :D

It is true that people on the spectrum share some traits but even so there're no two individuals alike. So, that makes difficult a diagnose.
In any case, it makes me really glad to see more people trying to understand people on the spectrum. It's very inspiring;)

Hope you find interesting stuff in here.
See you around!

It definately runs in families. Welcome & hope you find your time here illuminating.
