Poverty and Philadelphia

I was in a conversation in an ICQ chatroom, and I told her about the differences between me in Philadelphia, and Clay Marzo in California.
And she asked me "How would Philadelphia being the poorest population in the State of Pennsylvania" have an impact in how you are treated there?"

And so I said...
Have you ever known a permanently poor brain surgeon ?
A perpetually poor Certified Public Accountant ?
A perpetually poor Real Estate Broker or Banker or Insurance Agent ?

She said no.

So I said, well Mc Donald's Hamburger flippers and construction laborers and Non-Owning bartenders are Perpetually, and chronically poor, for as long as they do those jobs.

So with that being said... How much do you think they know, or care about Asperger Syndrome or people with it ?

They don't.
They're uneducated and stupid, and they do what uneducated and stupid people do.
Part of doing what uneducated and stupid people do, is to treat people in general,
like sh!t.
That's what they do.

She asked me if Pennsylvania is a Blue state, and why Philadelphia is Blue.
I said no, Pennsylvania is not a Blue State, its a Purple Battleground state, and the reason why Philadelphia is Blue, isn't because the Democrats are better for the economy or education, and culturally more tolerant...
The reason why Philadelphia is Blue, is because they want their welfare checks, that's it.
And when they get them, they spend them as stupid and uneducated people would.
They buy booze and tobacco, and clothing that is junky but still too expensive.
Because money isn't their problem....
Being stupid is.
No amount of money would ever solve their problems.

What is this disconnected line of crap about? Some ******** session over nothing the way I see it. It is up to you as an individual to decide which path you take,not by where you are from that determines who you are.

California is not without fault or poverty. People will be assholes anywhere they congregate,not just in certain hotspots as you claim. I happen to be from southwestern Pennsylvania in a poorer coal mining region as well and that didn't stop me from becoming what I wanted to be.I made the best with what I had to work with,which was my brain.

You would be very hard pressed to have any minority understood by a majority,no matter what placed them in their situation.AS and autism places us in a minority with little understanding even on a professional level,let alone by simple minded idiots in a chat room.

rules. Maybe you are used to frequenting discussion groups that favor

After reading your posts here I'm not sure what you want to hear from us. Do you want us all to you agree with you that your life is hopeless because of your bad parents and the bad people you grew up with? Okay then. (Now what?)

Just a guess... you've never actually been to California? You sure seem to have a lot of weird ideas about what it's like. If you saw some of the inland parts - the Central Valley, San Bernardino county, Redding area (big meth place) you might feel much better about Philly!

It seems to me, sure, of course, you should move away from the people you grew up with (or you may have already?, that's not clear). And I'm sure a lot of us here did the same thing, including me long ago. But with your bizarre beliefs about your past, I'm not sure what would help you going forward.
