Here's my script for my pretend play game 'My Trip Out'. Tell me what you think!
ME: Everyone in place? Now let's see...Fritz The Cat?
FRITZ: Right here.
ME: Optimus Prime?
OPTIMUS: Right here.
ME: Cream?
CREAM: Me, mate!
ME: Pikachu?
PIKACHU: Pika Pika!
ME: Fiver and Hazel?
HAZEL: Present.
FIVER: Present.
ME: Orko?
ORKO: Present!
ME: Cheese?
CHEESE: rushes in Sorry I'm late. I had a bit of trouble brushing my teeth and making breakfast by myself.
ME: Well, you should've thought of that earlier. Optimus, are you going with us?
OPTIMUS: Yes, but I prefer to take Cream in vehicle mode.
CREAM: Oh yes, Optimus, take me in your vehicle mode!
Optimus blushes, and everyone laughs.
ME: Alright! Let's go! All aboard!
Everyone hops aboard the car.
ME: So, where shall we go first?
EVERYONE: ASDA!
ME: Of course! Now let's head off!
The car drives off down the road with Optimus driving alongside us. After a few minutes, we reach ASDA.
ME: Now, I'm gonna get all of you some sausage rolls, some Kitkat Chunkies, and some bottles of Coke Zero. Be back in a mo!
EVERYONE: Bye!
A few minutes pass. Fritz becomes hungry.
FRITZ: I'm hungry. When's lunch?
FIVER: gets out a megaphone WHEN IT'S READY!
FRITZ: Oh, well, er, I 'd prefer fish if they have any.
ORKO: Well the fish store is only located down the street, so you may as well go there if you want.
Suddenly, everyone notices me coming, and cheers.
EVERYONE: YAY!
ME: opens the car door I brought you back some food! Come to think of it, where's Fritz?
ORKO: He went off to the fish store.
ME: Oh really? By the way, let's go.
Off the car goes again, with everyone enjoying their food. A few minutes later, we arrive at Portmahomack. Orko starts hopping about madly.
ORKO: I need to go to the toilet.
ME: Okay, but hurry up.
Orko gets out the car to do a number two in the local bathroom.
ME: So, have you guys ever heard of 'The Sign'?
FIVER: The Sign? What's that?
ME: It's a feature length episode of Bluey. In it, the Heelers deal with their house being put up for sale and celebrate the wedding of Uncle Rad and Frisky. What if you all were to attend it?
CHEESE: Not me, I'm from the '80s.
PIKACHU: Pika!
ME: Well, I hate to deliver spoilers, but the episode ends with Bandit ripping out the for sale sign and the Heelers claiming their house back.
FIVER: That's one way to stop us from watching it.
ME: I also heard from my support worker that she loves Supermarionation series, such as Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90. That Tracy Island playset proved to be popular in the '90s, didn't it?
CHEESE: Not in my era.
ME: Come to think of it, I wonder where Optimus has gone?
HAZEL: And Cream's gone too.
ME: I suspect we'll know where they are when we pick them up late-
ORKO: Sorry I'm late!
Orko has a wet, smelly patch down his cloak. Everyone grosses out.
ORKO: Sorry, I just wet my cloak and I think I might be in need of some-
ME: Orko, what a bad smell! Trollan pee smells like dog manure! You're toast!
CHEESE: Can I go with him?
ME: Of course, Cheese.
HAZEL: Bye, Cheese.
PIKACHU: Pika-pi!
ME: Let's head straight for Tomach now. I need a hot drink.
A few minutes later
Hazel, Fiver and Pikachu are waiting in the car.
FIVER: grumpily How come we get to be stuck with this high-pitched rat?
PIKACHU: Pika-PIka.
FIVER: Ah! There she comes.
ME: Sorry, everyone, the hot chocolate shop is under repairs and they've got a new coffee machine that doesn't produce the coffee I like.
Everyone sighs in disappointment.
ME: But you know, we should always go to Rasho's and get a hot cocoa there. Let's go!
The car makes its way to town, and we park near the Factory store.
ME: I'll be right back.
*Minutes later*
FIVER: This time, I'll decide where to go. COME ON!
Hazel drags us into the car and drives the car wildly along the road, until we come to the next town, where we screech to a halt in the Home Bargains car park.
ME: Wow, Hazel, what a ride! Now, I'm going to buy some notebooks for myself. You guys stay right there.
FIVER: I'm so proud of you, Hazel, driving all the way like that. When rabbits drive, they grip the wheel and take everyone for a wild ride.
HAZEL: Thank you, Fiver. Oh wait, my taxi's here. Bye, Fiver.
FIVER: Bye, Hazel.
ME: Hello hello, where's Hazel?
FIVER: He went home.
ME: Well I guess there's only two of you left.
Pikachu and Fiver look at each other.
ME: Oh well, let's go!
As I drive back home, Fiver gets angry. He's had enough.
FIVER: OK, I get it. Everyone leaves every time we approach a different place, can we PLEASE go home? grabs the wheel
Fiver's driving causes the car to zoom across town, all along the road, and then when it arrives back home, the car crashes into the house.
MUM: What have you done to the house? And who have you got with you?
PIKACHU: Pika-pi...Pika Pika Chu. Chu chu. Chuuuu chuuuuu...
