Primitive Reflexes Assessment

I recently completed an assessment to help identify cognitive challenges and whether I have any primitive reflexes still present. I had not really heard of primitive reflexes until recently, and it has me looking at autism in a slightly different light. Based on what I have learned, there are 8 primitive reflexes that we are all born with and they typically naturally dissipate by age 2. But sometimes they are retained which can interfere with development. The assessment revealed that there are 6 primitive reflexes where I have some level of retainment. 4 were mild, and 2 were moderate. Each respective primitive reflex, can cause specific social and learning challenges along with challenges with motor skills. The assessment also revealed some other insights, none of which were too surprising to me. I have deficits with auditory processing - the test revealed just a 50% score here. This also is a measure of how well I have the ability to tune out useless background noise. The assessment also revealed a relatively low score in a measurement of how well my brain understands where my body is within space.

I am thinking I will move forward with the program which involves specific exercises designed to build new neural connections. It is a bit expensive, but well worth it if it results in some improvements in areas I have struggled. I believe the program is scientifically based. It was validating to see the results of the assessment since I have never been formally diagnosed with autism. Many of the challenges associated with the primitive reflexes and other assessment results I identify with.
