This is a special place for everyone to start posting their rants of the week... and I shall start with mine..

Today has been disgusting, the fact that I had an argument with my girlfriend and ended up having a meltdown over it. :thumbsdown:
and on top of that... How could she talk about me when she is constantly talking about the other guy who hates the living daylights out of me... :wtf2:

That's just my rant...
 
I have to do a speech on Monday.
I don't mind speeches, and actually enjoy them when I get to choose the subject. Even subjects I'm not that interested in I still do good in(or completely confuse everyone- not very good but meh).
But I have to do it subjectively on my work experience.
Which sucks.
I don't want people at school to know much about me.
Esp. stuff that happened outside of school. :/.

And every time I practice I sound like a total friggin' misanthropic narcissist D:. Whether I am or not is arguable, but I don't want people thinking I am regardless :/.

You could always just tell them something different. I had to give an hour long presentation when I was 16 supporting this radical anti-abortion group (like they spread flyers about procedures that already are illegal to scare people into illegalizing abortion even when the survival of the mother is at stake-- even if you agree with their sentiment you have to admit their methods are suspect) even though I was completely pro choice and thought they were a bunch of quacks. After stomping out of class a few times during the course of the project I ended up having to cave and lie to get the presentation done, or I wouldn't have graduated.

That sucks.
TBH, I don't even lie in tests or w.e, except maybe French essays about my life(but it's so obvious it's a load of bull I'm almost admitting it's a lie).
Which has resulted in me getting Ds and stuff in RE essays.
TBH, I value me not lying over getting a good grade.
I think I'll just skip bits out or not include my opinion. Either way I'm gonna get a crap grade tbh, unless I somehow make it into a subject I'm interested in.

As far as I can tell, I think she's saying waking up dead would be a *****. i.e. suck. Lol.
 
I guess for me it depends on what I am actually being graded on. If I am being graded on my ability to persuade or inform, it really doesn't matter what I really think so I don't care if I give the speech from a different perspective if that's easiest, I am just very careful in my wording and word things hypothetically so the speech follows a certain perspective even if it's not mine. I think that is more misleading than lying, I am saying exactly literally what I mean but if people are expecting my opinion even if I word everything hypothetically they assume it's what I think even if I never really said that. But if I was being graded on my actual experiences with something, then I don't think I would do it that way.

I don't even know if I want to say this but another forum im on, pissing me off by sending me moderator warnings and that's the second time this week, I don't care or give a ****, they might aswell ban me, I was just doing the right thing but I didn't think it was to piss one of the mods off :thumbsdown:
 
My dad is losing his job, and we're losing our house. We have officially one week to find a new one. I can't be bothered going through another phase of moving house. FFS.   :(

Turned out to be a misunderstanding in the end.
I guess I got upset for nothing.. :lol:
