It's a lot to take in. I've been to therapists before, but they've always worked with me on anxiety issues. I suppose it all makes sense, in hindsight.
But where are my manners! I'm Naomi, which is not my real name, but it's good enough for an internet forum. Recently, I turned seventeen and am looking to see if I could find some people with shared experiences. I can't count how many times I look back on a conversation I had or something, and think: "Why did I say/do that? What was I thinking?"
Hopefully there are some other people that I can relate to.
I was diagnosed with HFA, but could have just as easily been diagnosed with Asperger's. It was all a difference in what form the psychiatrists were using, apparently. Is there a big difference between the two?
I like anime, writing (where the subtleties of human interaction actually make sense to me, for some reason), and lots of 'right brain' activities in general. My handwriting is terrible (like a child's) and video games are awesome. That's about it.
