Recognition.

That sort of sounds like the philosophical reason why artists become artists.
But as for me, personally, not at all. I'm content with a lot of my world to stay personal.
Only when misunderstandings happen I get frustrated and wish the general public had more understanding.
 
Yes, I definitely would like to have people recognize how I see the world. So many times I have been told or made to feel that my views and opinions are invalid: "the way you see things is not the way they really are." The world is very good about putting us down but not building us up.

I seem to have the opposite problem- the way I see things is too much like the way it is (i.e., blunt and brutal honesty). That seems to be more of my problem, or so I'm told. The world prefers to live in metaphors, I suppose.
