Hi all.
I am new here. I am a 19 year old adult who is looking to get tested for autism. My insurance is Kaiser Permanente, and they do not assess adults.
I live in San Diego, CA. If anyone knows of a specialist in this area who tests adults for autism, I would be very grateful. It would also be awesome if they offer a sliding scale or if they accept Kaiser Permanente insurance. If relevant, I am also transgender, so would appreciate a provider who isn't a bigot.
Thank you in advance!

Country of origin is crucial in this instance. The differences are extreme.

[Edit] sorry - apparently you were still writing when I replied.

I was talking to an American lad once and he told me his mother was from New Zealand. I said that considering the lady's heritage he should be calling her Mum instead of Mom. He said he tried that once but it just sounded too weird. :)
