Rolling for initiative, but wait a minute, where's UberScout's GM screen?

One Page Solo Engine, or OPSE, is a custom-made printable PDF file/kinda-low-price book that contains a list of generic rules and dice tables that leave intentionally vague questions/answers to what's happening in your tabletop game; this way, you can play your favorite TTRPGs by yourself without a GM. Great for quarantine and/or being anti-social! (I guess LOL)

It also has a presence on the app store (Google Play i know, IDK if it's on iOS) as an all-in-one app that does everything the PDF/book does for you, and it even gives you the option to export the entire log of actions to plain text or an HTML file that can be uploaded anywhere!

Why am I so excited about this? Numerous reasons, a few being condensed into "i am just an avid Tabletop RPG fan but don't like waiting for another person to willingly sit there with me for hours running a game so i wanna do it myself", but then there is another reason.

I love journaling. It keeps me organized, it helps me remember stuff that happened (if i write it down of course :P ), keep track of the date and time, and its just relaxing in general. But sometimes i just wish my entries were a little more...technical, or at least, functional, for lack of better words. There are forms of useful information or data, that simply cannot be expressed comprehensively through words alone; sure, you can write in a journal all day about how many times you had to wrestle with an HDMI cord hooking up your XBox to your TV because you couldn't see the plug-in well, or, you could save yourself a TON of paper space and just condense it into "So, I had a lot of trouble hooking up my XBox today...: (DEX 10 vs 9, rolled 7, failed.)"

Lot less paper used, a lot more pages left, you get the idea.

I started playing around with the OPSE app trying this out, and it seems like it kinda works. I can tell some of you will disagree with this partway, or at least just be a bit confused by it, which is understandable... That being said the most i can advise in understanding this is really something along the lines of "just try it out for yourself and tell me what you think"

With that in mind, I think i'll start doing this and exporting the log files to my blog on here. It IS a form of journaling after all, which is essentially what a blog is...isn't it? Guys?
