Rude Sister

hey so I have touched upon this subject before but this is a little different. So I am almost 13 and I have a twin sister. In a few days it is my dad's birthday (or it will be in the next year or week or whenever you are reading this) and we were making birthday cards. Sweet, right? Not really. So she asked me for some glue or tape, and I looked as hard as I could but to no avail, I couldn't find it. I calmly told her and she exploded. She said things like I was so rude to her and I was no help at all, despite me trying me hardest. She even flipped me off at one point. My mother was not home at the time of the incident and I don't have a cell phone so I could not call her. How could have I handled the situation better/how can I deal with my rude sis?

She won't listen if you start explaining what you're having trouble with? If you'll calmly tell her about them, maybe she could understand and see that you're sincere?
