Let’s celebrate some of our successes. What is something that you have accomplished that makes you feel truly satisfied, proud, or joyful?

The greatest satisfaction I ever had was watching an apprentice become successful in life. I never spoke to him after his last year but he used me as a reference so I got to talk to his future employers for a few years and 5 years later I gave him a glowing recommendation for a managerial job I thought he'd be well suited to.

I've had a lot of other successes in life but that's the one that comes to mind first.

Was nervous about a new round at work today. I'd only been there once, on my second day working. I shadowed someone who'd done the round a long time, and wasn't very hands on in any of the visits.

Turns out the round is lovely and potentially my new favourite place to be. I have a full day there next Sunday.

Cosy.

I haven't slapped anyone today. And considering how the world is, I think that is a big accomplishment. :D

I'm just kidding, I don't slap people of course.

I am most proud ofthe research I did in Molecular Genetics and Experimental Pathology. Then, I feel that I have been of service to people when I put in a lot of work to optimize and validate pharmaceutical drug and device manufacturing processes to ensure that they output consistently to create product that met specifications for quality, strength, purity and safety. I was uncompromizing when it came to processes that safeguard the sterility of product. Anytime I see incidents of people injured or killed by adulterated or non-sterile product, I am horrified.

Right now I'm feeling quite proud that I managed to repair the massive hole that appeared in our roof and prevented all the rain we've been having here from causing huge damage.

The reason I feel quite good about it is that despite being forbidden by my girlfriend and dad from climbing on to the roof, I managed to figure out a way of fixing it from inside the attic area. It's 100% fixed the leaks and is pretty sturdy. At least as sturdy as any repair I could have achieved by getting on the roof.

Still being here, still getting up every day, and still being successful in life despite everything that has happened to me.

And going along with that theme, also managing to stay clean from self harm and an eating disorder for years now.
And being secure and comfortable with my body and not trying to force myself to lose weight.

Plus all the things I have accomplished with my dogs, but I owe that to them.

Being able to get out of the house and have a job. Even though it’s volunteer work, it’s the best thing for me. It has made me a better and happier person. I love to work at the register and talk to the customers and socialize. I love working at the thrift store. I get great things from there and get to work on my communication and social skills.
