Seeing a Cardiologist For The First Time

Let’s start with good news first and that is I had a job interview a few weeks ago to teach at a community college as a general biology professor and as of Friday morning I got the position and I will be starting next month! I am actually quite excited that I will be leaving my temporary job with Home Depot soon having to deal with obnoxious people customers all day and finally getting to do something with my teaching background!

Later on Friday though I went to the doctor for a 6 month health follow up. Upon evaluation I was told I am needing to see a cardiologist as I have a vascular bruise on my leg that hasn’t really healed for two weeks now plus I have mild inflammation in my heart possibly in my left ventricle after having an X-ray of my chest. I had experienced exhaustion and cramping in my legs for a few weeks when I exert them through physical activity like walking or jogging to the point my legs just want to give. I particularly like to make routines for myself and I normally hit the gym like 3-4 times a week but for a couple weeks now I just don’t have the motivation to do the strenuous exercise at all.

So that’s how life has been going and I feel a little burned out.

I am happy for you about the job. Hopefully the bit about the heart will turn out ok too.
