Sing It Better Than the Original Artist!

This seems similar to using a paraphrase tool,
but with the option of directing the emotional
content.

For the last few years, the UK charts have been filled with X Factor wannabes doing covers of songs from before they were even twinkles in their Parents' eyes, I remember Will Young's cover of The Doors' "Light my Fire", it was bloomin' terrible compared to the classic original IMO,

And Westlife's version of Barry Manilow's "Mandy", released in 2004, painful to my already damaged ears.

The singer-song writer is alive and well still... Just make your way to an open mic at a local cafe, lots of people are still writing their own songs! They will probably never become famous or become pop stars, but some of them are very good at the craft of song writing, surprise yourself...
