Sister pissing me off :(

My older sister said about how I have social security and I shouldn't be depressed. Then I told her that is just my face. I tend to have a poker face. How I got accommodations at school and she didn't. But the thing is, with her she was good at hiding her problems. I wasn't. That is why I got help and she didn't at school. She is always complaining and stuff about things I have and she doesn't. It is annoying me and I wish she wouldn't do it.

Her old psychiatrist suspected she was on the spectrum but she never got tested. I think she's jealous of me or something. [emoji35]

I find many people are jealous don't take responsibility of their own lives. She should work on her own issues instead of being jealous of you.

My older sister has been jealous of me her entire life. Somehow, they are much more entitled and controlling than the ones who come after them. The first born's have their parents undivided attention, when their siblings are born they have to share. That's often why some can seem so selfish.

I feel for you. My older brother came to visit for a few days and his attitude was very negative. He basically said that Autism and Autistic Spectrum were just made up diseases to give people a reason to be lazy and suck money out of hard-working people like him. He thinks that I just got this evaluation to have an excuse to not work or contribute to society. I haven't felt this depressed for almost a year. I was suicidal for hours after we talked. I don't know how to get rid of toxic influences like this when they are related by blood. I hope your problems with your sister aren't as bad as mine with my brother. Good luck and keep your chin up (as the saying goes)!

It would be a bit sad if she's on the spectrum and simply doesn't realize it. But then a great many people are likely in such a way. I was one of them up until a few years ago.

In the long run, I don't think being on entitlements is something for one to be envious over. Perhaps in time your sister will mature enough to realize this. Or better yet, she may eventually pursue that she might be on the spectrum as well.
