Smells that make you happy

What smells make you feel good? I have a very sensitive sense of smell, so I often smell things others are not aware of. People are missing out on so much!
A few for me:

Old books
New video game manuals
Freshly baked bread
Freshly cut grass
Petrichor
Warm dirt on a sunny day
Forests
Fresh sweat from working out outdoors
My cat’s fur when it’s been in the sun
My own skin when I’ve been in the sun
 
Orange blossom, and especially when the flowers are blossoming on the trees. Orange groves are just so nice... but not the artificial orange blossom smell, though. I hate that one, it smells as chemical as dish soap.
Iris flowers
Petrichor, and also the smell before it rains (does it have a name? Does anybody else smell it?)
Mud
Baked goods in general
Oh yeah, cat fur or skin after being in the sun, like you
The smell of my mom's skin when she's coming back from outside in the winter, she smells of flintstone for some reason
The smell of comfort foods being made
The smell of laundry detergent --but only in Germanic countries: different countries associate different things with the smell of cleanliness
Fresh laundry, as a result
Watermelon or cucumber, along with raspberry stems, plus a bunch of fruit
Oceanic-scented cosmetics

And probably many more...
 
Yes I have a keen sense of smell but it can get overloaded easily. I like the smell of spring mornings also autumn mist crisp snow or summer grass. All kinds of soaps and Lush products tho again they sometimes overwhelm. Burnt toast is a nice smell, also grilled cheese. The scent from Woodburners and coal fires. Bonfires. Coffee. Coffee cake. Wood at a timber yard. I like the smell of Marks and Spencers and of Waitrose they make me happy. Pancakes with lemon juice. Marmalade cooking. Lime trees. Sandalwood. Yellow gorse flowers .

Lush had a shower gel that smelled like freshly cut grass at some point. It was amazing!

Yeasty, hops smell of beer making
Cinnamon rolls
Coffee
Old books with leather covers
Oil, axle grease and gasoline
The smell of mint when you crush the fresh leaves, and dill, caraway, basil, oregano, lavender, savory, marjoram, sage and camomile.
Cucumbers
Onions
The way your skin smells after swimming in a lake.
 
Laundry detergent and dryer sheets (and the sounds of a laundromat)
A hot clean burning woodstove fire (not a gooey slow one)
A 2 stroke engine in cold air
(An elementary school teacher used to encourage us to sniff school bus exhaust, and gas at gas stations. So I like those too.)
Bleach and lemon cleaning supplies
Most garage chemicals for working on cars
The ammonia from the old engineering blueprint machines
New car smell
The fruity smell of auto body paint
Sensing a pattern? :)
From childhood I think I like Sandalwood and Nexxus hair conditioner. And "Ready" perfume.
 
Countryside air on a summer's morning
Pine trees
New carpet
Herbal scented laundry soap coming via the clothes dryer
Tar on hot roads in the summer
Oncoming rain
Pages of a new paperback
Coffee
Shepherds pie baking in the oven
 
Good thread. There are a lot of smells that I like. Just this morning I was having a conversation with a friend about motorcycles and motorcycle racing. Back in the sixties it was popular to use caster based oil in the fuel for two stroke engines. When this fuel burns it make a sweet smell. We both thought that this smell bought back good memories of days gone by.
 
Horse manure (not kidding here)
Balsam in the winter
Apple pie baking in the oven
Almost any flowering trees
fresh pineapple
Hawaiian pikake leis
 
Fresh Laundry (Gain/Downey/Bounce)
Baked apples
Steaks on the grille
Vanilla anything
fresh coffee isle at Sprouts when people are grinding it
Rain hitting dirt in hot weather
The moist smell right when the A/C comes on when its hot and humid
redwood
soap with Amber in it
LaCoste and Hollister California cologne (my 2 favorite)
New sheetrock, tile, and flooring
Leather seats in the sun
the smell of clean but not overpowering
grilling onions - yum
 
Horses
My dogs
Cookies baking
A young baby's head
Night flowering jasmine
Almond blossom
And yes, ground coffee, fresh baked bread, and rain just before a storm.
 
My husband (as long as he isn't sweaty)
My dog ( as long as she hasn't rolled in something revolting like duck poo)
Eucalyptus leaves after rain.
Burning eucalyptus leaves on a campfire ( not a bushfire)
Sandalwood
strawberries
gardenias
lillies
casseroles

petrichor;)
 
Freshly brewed drip coffee first thing in the morning.
The tempting scent of rotisserie chickens for sale at my grocery store nearby.
Fresh popcorn at the cinemas.
Pipe tobacco smoke.
The scent of curry at a good Indian restaurant.

I agree with everything apart from oil ,axle grease ,gasoline and chamomile.

everything apart from human smells and whatever dogs roll in!
casseroles as long as they don't have tarragon
