Ya know, I dont even really watch movies much (though maybe I might start again) but I sure know Ghost Stories.

Holy heck that was legendary. I've a couple of clip compilations of it saved on my Youtube favorites list. Always hilarious.

I also remember Crest of the Stars, the English dub, that was not the utter chaos of Ghost Stories but it was still pretty bad. Watched it with a friend, certain lines were just so hilarious in their delivery that we quoted them endlessly for years. I dont even remember what the series was about.

Also I have this confusing vague memory of some cheesy horror movie I saw, it comes to mind every now and then and I cannot for the life of me remember what it was. There was like this weird monster thing that had fallen from space, not a huge monster, a small one, and it'd jab people with... something... and they'd just kinda fall apart into this mess of chunks and weird goo. And then there was some alien guy who was rushing to earth to try to catch it before it could cause too much trouble. A couple of college kids get caught up in the mess, hijinks ensue. Some guy tries to take it as a pet at one point, the result is chunky goo. That one's gonna haunt me till I somehow find out what it was.

Lastly, Cloak & Dagger. I think that's what it was called. I dont think it was really *bad*, but it had certain elements that were just so odd that it kinda threw things off. And a couple of scenes that were just really messed up, like the part with the corpse in the trunk of a car, I remember that bit. But it was a "family movie", since those tended to be much more loopy back in that era.

Have you ever seen the Angel Cop dub? I prefer that over the original Japanese dialogue because the original is notoriously anti-Semitic, but that English dub is legendarily quotable. Too bad I can’t quote any of it here.

Since you have The Room on here, have you gotten around to watching The Disaster Artist? If not, you should, it's well worth it.

My votes would go to:

Manos: Hands of Fate
Flash Gordon (not bad necessarily but so over the top it's ridiculous)

I love Torgo!! I have his theme as an alarm on my phone.

Actually, the movie that got me squirming in my seat because of one wrong decision piled atop another is the first Coen Brother's film, Blood Simple. It is like a malignant three-stooges movie. But, it got me hooked on the Coen Brother's work and that was solidified after seeing Raising Arizona.

I haven't seen any of the movies listed so far.
It's got to be good to be bad. Meaning well written, a plot and good FX.
A few that come to mind I have seen that I would call bad:
The Thing
Blair Witch
Children of the Corn movies

Creepy horror does not affect me because I have remained unafraid of death. It is the horror of things like the protomolecule and dropping rocks on earth in, The Expanse, that really grabs me.
