Stardew Valley: Paradise for gamers on the spectrum?

Stardew Valley is a game that serves as a love letter to old farming RPG games like Harvest Moon or Story of Seasons. You grow crops, date townsfolk, go to the wilderness to find rare stuff, raise animals, go through randomly generated caves...

At it's core it is a relaxing game, and I found it to be a very therapeutic experience.

I love games like Harvest Moon, especially Stardew Valley. I played Harvest Moon 64 as a little kid, and I had the BIGGEST farm. With Stardew Valley I get the same experience plus a whole other area of stuff to do I couldn't do in Harvest Moon, like the caves.

I'm so glad there are games like this.

I have the game and played a bit of it but I keep being sidetracked by other games to properly play Stardew Valley. I also want Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town since you can have LGBTQ representation in the game.

Funny you should post about this, I just started a new game today for some relaxing escapism :)

I absolutely love Stardew valley. Did you know you can make clothes using most items in the game? I'm almost finished befriending everybody. I like harvest moon but the day cycles in "a wonderful life" were too fast for me to keep up. I had the futuristic version on PSP and loved it!

I downloaded the game on the Switch months ago but I find everything on the screen too small and I can't figure out the controls. It's a Switch Lite, so I can't play it on a bigger screen.:(
