Still functioning at a lower level and burned out completely

I had to take a break from people even fellow asd'ers for a good while. My job is terrible and stressful to an extreme but I have to pay bills. When they are paid, I just want to sleep under a juniper tree for about a week. Anyone else reached this level?

yeah, I burnt out at about 40, that's when I got dx'ed. Took a redundancy and applied for disability pension, was pretty unemployable due to stress/chronic fatigue/midlife crisis stuff. What type of work is it you do?

Welcome to the site. :)

Yup, me three. Standing in the burned out line, just let me lay down for 10 years, l will be good to go.

I've been burned out since 2013, but its really bad now. Just got approved for SSDI. Going to take this opportunity to rest and recover my health as much as possible. I may never be able to work again, but I still have a few activities I enjoy. Do what you have to do to survive, but take care of yourself, too. SSDI is NOT enough to live on...
