Have anybody heard about it or tried it? If I understand it right the goal of the therapy is to increase amount of neurotransmitters that can "push through the nerve" and restore healthy function of the nerve. According to some studies in people with Autism (so as in people with many other conditions like ADHD, also in people exposed to toxic metals, people with some mental and physical diseases) there's a decreased amount of different types of neurotransmitters. Logically it could help with some of the spectrum related issues. My main focus is on attention and for my son, on planning and sequencing (which seem to affect his speech).

Any opinions?

The only thing that I saw of substance on Google was this: http://www.mtenergie.com/docs/tcu abstract.pdf

Apparently it's promising but still needs further research. I'm not entirely sold on it yet, although in the study above, they did use a decent sample size of 78 kids. Then again, they didn't specify [IIRC] the use of any control group as a comparison.

So, my opinion would be to wait until better research comes out before jumping into it.
