Question 1: I got a gouache set for my bday from a friend of mine. What should I paint with it?
it looks like jelly unboxing himi gouache

Quetsion 2: do you like to draw or do anything with your hands that involves use of touching stuff like paint or fabric? Does it cause any sensory issues for you? Let’s discuss

Answer 1.
What about a Picasso style crazy self portrait?

Answer 2.
Definitely have some textural challenges with art stuff. I have a very hard time with unfinished wood and dried clay on my hands.

Certain markers have an uncomfortable conflict with paper and I despise charcoals. Chalk pastels are also the bane of my existence, but oil pastels are lovely.

I love the feel of most paints and will sometimes use my hands. Glue doesn’t bother me and I am definitely one of those grown-ups who still peels dried glue off my fingers.

Hell nah with sensory issues (sort of!) because I enjoy painting despite getting it all over my hands, I like the feeling, and play doh for example is fun as heck ^0^ That's what comes to mind anyway. I haven't used molding clay before and haven't really crafted much but it seems fun :)

Fabric doesn't really bother me when it comes to touch, but wet and slimy things can. I hated face paint as a kid, and though I find drag pretty fun, I have a hard no when it comes to makeup beyond nail polish (since I can't actually feel it). I also get bothered if some wet food (like sauces) get on my hand when washing up or eating. I don't have an interest in art or painting so it hasn't been much of a hindrance to me, and I'm pretty sure I could push through it if I did decide to get into art.

Not much in texture issues with me and art materials.
I peel dried up glue off my fingers too. lol
The only thing I don't like is felt tipped pens or things like magic markers.
They can squeak and I don't like the smell.

Your new paints look pretty cool.
I would probably paint something that has a lot of texture to it in real life with them.
Like a seashell or some sort of sea creature. That's what comes to mind.
