The graphics outside are horrible

Recently I was thinking about the graphical quality whenever I leave my house. There's a few things that really bug me. First off, there's this random event called "Rain". It seems to happen way too often. And even when it doesn't I find I can't see things in the same resolution as other people. I have to use the "Glasses mod" to get the same view. I know the glasses mod doesn't work for everyone but for me it has done wonders. Still, I can't help but notice the graphics themselves aren't that interesting. There's lots of greens, browns and greys. Where are the purples or the pinks?

Maybe I'm missing something. What does everyone else think about the outside graphics? Are you able to see them clearly and enjoy them?

There is beauty almost everywhere if you look for it, but for me there's quite often too many people blocking my view.

The graphics are better in July and August here than they are now. Right now there is a windstorm filter making things look quite ugly.

Im told there are certain conditions in which less people appear. Such as rain or night time.

Are you talking about cellphone wave attenuation?

If so, there's a lot that can happen to degrade how well a cellphone can operate. Especially when you leave your own network and go outside. Weather in particular...and if you expose your cellphone to inclement weather long term. Also to consider the physical condition and upkeep of local cell towers.

It also makes me wonder how prolonged use of a cellphone in inclement weather can function less than nominally.

I believe she's referring to herself as if she was a software package.

LOL....never occurred to me.

The term "graphics" to me is strictly an issue of technology- not physiology. Yet media has also hijacked the term "optics" as well. Then again the word "ophthalmology" has great meaning for me...as my case was once considered medical history in the mid 60s.

But then it did initially sound well...confusing. My bad.

Its a joking for fun thread

Yes the cellphone item is quite buggy sometimes. Thankfully mine works well.

Just shows y'all how odd some of us think. Or too much coffee this morning?

At least I can still laugh about my own thought process...

I got punk'd! :p

I received the glasses upgrade in 3rd grade. It improved resolution greatly. This has helped a good deal outdoors. I like the contrast of blue and white and green and various shades of brown.
I am repelled by the visual clutter they call civilization (while I call it sillyvization). When the intense mobile overhead light drops below the western horizon, the myriad of point source lighting devices are neat as well, as is the other mobile, less bright overhead source.
I've often wondered why the multicolored lighted vehicles that just appear overhead and hover while they pick me up for experiments only seem to come at night? Seems like it would be easier to see me in the daytime.

The contrast on mine has been off for ages - everything's been sort of grey, no matter what I did. Now it's suddenly changed to bright colours again, and I don't know why. I didn't touch anything.

Also, the thermostat seems to have gone wonky at the same time and the temperature has gone up by several degrees. Could it be related?

Considering the theory that some scientists believe in - that the universe and all of its contents, including humans, are a simulation, it might actually be legitimate to talk about reality in terms of computer generated graphics.

What is that spitting from our lips? Speech?

Nope. -Fonts. All in the form of ones and zeroes. :p

Bishop George Berkeley was there first: he believed that reality consisted of ideas in the mind of God. (Which potentially explains sunsets: God has found the psychedelics.)
