The mind of God and Joyce Meyer

Am I being attacked?

By Joyce Meyer

The devil is alive and well on planet earth, and we may as well be aware of him and learn to deal with him aggressively. The basic truth is that the devil is a liar, and he uses our mind as a battlefield to do warfare with us. He is the source of dark and harmful thoughts. His goal is to prevent us from enjoying the good plan God has for us, and he is successful if we never learn to recognize how he attacks our minds. Scripture teaches us that our mind is a battleground where a war is being fought.

Joyce Meyer

2 Corinthians 10:3-5King James Version (KJV)

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Just curious. I know I'm being attacked. And want to know if I am the only aspie that feels that they are? Can a person be religious,aspie and attacked all at the same time?

"religious, aspie and attacked" aren't mutually exclusive categories.
Having faith doesn't eliminate the other two.
Having faith could give a person a platform upon which to function.

Take fear for example, I can simple recite parts of psalm 23 when I go out to do news paper delivery in a non lit area of my city. This help me not be afraid of the shadow's and noises in that area.

This to me is taking CBT techniques and infusing it with scripture to ultimately change an irational fear.

I will read all this links thanks. It mentions that CBT can help with memory loss from radiation therapy. Now that is strong potent stuff.

My psychiatrist mentions that later in life I may be susceptible to memory degradation. So I am trying to learn scripture and CBT now.
