The Nintendo NES Classic

NeoPhile

Can I get a "Bright not Broken"?
Last Christmas, I asked for a Nintendo NES Classic. In case you don't know, the Nintendo NES Classic is a gaming device that has 30 classic games from the old eight-big Nintendo System. They're supposed to be 30 best games for the old system. These are the games available:
Excitebike
Ghosts and Goblins
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
Super C
Double Dragon II: The Revenge
Ninja Gaiden
Ice Climber
Donkey Kong Jr.
Balloon Fight
Mario Brothers
Bubble Bobble
Donkey Kong
Galaga
Kid Icarus
Punch Out
Gradius
Pac-Man
Temco Bowl
Zelda II: The Adventures of Link
Final Fantasy
Metroid
Castlevania
Dr. Mario
Kirby's Adventure
Mega Man 2
Super Mario Brothers
Super Mario Brothers 2
The Legend of Zelda
Star Tropics
Super Mario Brothers 3

Some of the picks I found strange. I've never even heard of Balloon Fight or Ice Climber. Why indclude Pac-Man and Galaga? I don't remember that being very popular for the old Nintendo system. They were more popular at the arcades. I never liked Zelda II, either. It was too hard. Also, why include Super C and not Contra. I never really liked Super Mario Brothers 2, either. It was a departure for the series and didn't feel like a Mario game. Also, why only include one Mega Man game? Megan Man 2 wasn't even the best game in that series. Also, how dare they not include a Tetris game! That borders on blasphemy.
That got me to thinking: What were the 30 best games for the old Famicom System? I made a list here it is:
  1. Adventure Island 2
  2. Baseball Stars
  3. Bionic Commando
  4. Blades of Steel
  5. Castlevania
  6. Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest
  7. Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse
  8. Contra
  9. Crystalis
  10. Dragon Warrior IV
  11. Duck Tales
  12. Fester’s Quest
  13. Final Fantasy
  14. Kirby’s Adventure
  15. Kid Icarus
  16. The Legend of Zelda
  17. Mega Man
  18. Mega Man 2
  19. Mega Man 3
  20. Metal Storm
  21. Metroid
  22. Mike Tyson’s Punch Out
  23. Ninja Gaiden
  24. Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos
  25. River City Ransom
  26. Star Tropics
  27. Super Mario Brothers
  28. Super Mario Brothers 3
  29. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game
Tetris (Tekken Edition)
As far as memories, Super Mario Brothers 3 was my favorite game for the eight-bit system. It was fun and there were a lot of hidden things. Crystalis was a fun game, but it was hard. You wandered around most of the time, wondering just what you were supposed to be doing.
So these are my picks for the 30 best eight-bit Nintendo games ever. What are yours?

There's some good stuff then, only thing is, would something as old as an NES work on a modern HD TV? HD TVs hadn't been invented in the late 80s when the NES came out.

Right, but the Nintendo NES Classic can be hooked up to an HD TV.
