The onlooker partner making lives easier

I do not know this for sure, for I myself live alone. I have wondered though at times if some people could be disturbed from using this website because say an onlooker partner. Like if they see someones picture on your laptop and you are a married female with a husband-Now who is that man in the avatar going by the name of that you are spending some time with I might add.

Now I have seen this on some forums the ability to remove avatars from people in their profile alone who need a more inconighto look at times. I think this can extend to turning of signatures as well.

Hopefully it is not that bad for anyone here, but it has come across my mind their perhaps own unique challenges.
Thoughts anyone

Well, from the perspective of an old married man, being with the same woman 40 years, and I am happily married and this is not part of our behavior. Both my sisters, on the other hand, suffered from this behavior. All I can say is that this sort of behavior comes from a source of insecurity and presents as distrust, envy, jealousy, and can lead to anger, mental and physical abuse. The death of a thousand cuts. Insecurities are not uncommon, in and of themselves, but how it presents can be quite toxic to a relationship. No good comes of this.

With a good relationship, there is no jealousy. There is trust. We both know that even at 58 years old, there's an 18 year old kid in us that has an eye for beautiful people and we will both look. From time to time, we catch each other and laugh at it. We know darn well nothing could come between us. We both know that neither is going to put a great relationship at risk due to some "impulse". Yeah, it's that tight of bond.

If you are not in that sort of relationship, or are in a new relationship, trust is earned. Share the forum and share what you are doing and why. If it still triggers them into some insecure, distrusting, controlling behaviors, then you have some choices to make to save your mental and physical health. This person has some serious issues that is only going to result in a lot of pain.
