The West Wing

Is anyone else here a crazed fan of The West Wing?
The last season ended in 2006, so it's a while ago. But I still think it's the best series I've ever seen.

I place The West Wing, Battlestar Gallactica and The Walking Dead on the same pedestal.

But yeah, The West Wing was there first. Brilliant writing...one and all.

I am actually about to start Season 2, as soon as the discs arrive from Netflix. I am a BIG fan of snappy dialogue, and West Wing delivers.

What I enjoyed so much about this show was just that.

Having to very carefully concentrate on each and every word of rich dialogue, often delivered with the pace of a tennis match.

But I'll never forget that one line of President Bartlet: "Get your fat asses out of my White House!"

Yeah, I love that it is funny, complicated, interesting and intelligent. So very rare for a television series.

It's the first boxset I've ever bought and I will never turn down watching an episode (though currently I'm without my box set since I lent it to someone :( )
Just going over some of the quotes of it in my head to me is entertainment.
