Those Who Do Enjoy Camping

The Penguin

Chilly Willy The Penguin
I like to hear from those that do enjoy camping? Last year was the first time I went alone and really enjoyed it. I went three times last year and once this year. I'm hoping to get one more trip before the season ends. Camping always eases my stresses. Even during stressful periods during camping, the stress goes away a lot faster compare to being at home. When I do my camping trips, I always hike on trails and make photos and videos during my trip.

I got into camping when I was about 9 years old, but then it was called 'running away from home'. I preferred to call it camping.

Spent a lot of time camping and as you've said, it just blows the stress away. When I am out and about it's as if my senses attune in the way they were meant to be, I literally feel connected. This year I haven't had much of a chance as work has been full on, but I still get a long walk on the forest trail now and again.

Just had 'Doh!' moment reading the last sentence. I purchased a new camera last year and it's never occured to me to take it on my walks 'till just ;)

That is really cool. I find it very sad that many people live in cities never get a chance to go camping. There people don't consider it interesting without even trying. I find it very important for all people to connect with nature as without nature none of us would exist.

I think one of the main problems with first world societies is that disconnection from nature, it's why they can destroy it so easily.

The only pleasure I get from this is knowing that if our world encountered a large scale near extinction event they wouldn't be around to rebuild it.
