Hey there,

I just discovered this forum and it seems like a wonderful and much needed community. I'm diagnosed with ADHD, however that diagnosis has always felt incomplete. I'm quite certain I'm on the autistic spectrum. Additionally, I have always felt alienated by the world and struggle many times to relate with others. Simultaneously, I also frequently feel confused by my own identity because I tend to be in this oscillating state of hyper-confidence where I tell myself "I'm so normal" and a state of deep insecurity.

A few of my hobbies are: math (I study math), sculpture and ceramics, extreme sports, literature, philosophy, long solo walks, and any experience that helps me dive deeper into my own psyche. I look forward to learning from others and offering a helping hand to anyone :)

You sound like a great addition to the forums. I'm sure a lot of forum members can relate, and several have similar interests to you (including your truly/myself).

Do you have any favourite authors or books? Are there certain philosophical movements you follow more than others? I find it interesting how common it is for mathematicians to also be interested in philosophy. I know about quite a few. I also like long walks in nature, or hiking in the wilderness.

For some of us, denial is just part of the process of self-awareness of one's own autism. It certainly was for me.
