Threads updated everyday

Geordie
In forums like this, every day, there will be new posts on threads like this, for the past 6 months at least (from the time I returned from slumber after a year-long break)

'How do you feel today'
'Ask or tell another user something' (oh, this is a new fad btw)
'I Confess'
'Things that make you happy lately'
'Post something random'
'What are you doing/reading/whatever?'

is there any reason why we enjoy posting on these threads every day? Do we create new threads constantly that really fully involves our imagination, of a non-repetitive thing? Or am I thinking too much?

The nature of the threads that you mention are the type that can constantly be posted in every day, without too much thought or input. They're small talk threads and that's why they are popular - because someone will always have something to say/add.

In this case, I think it'd be useful to create new threads that we enjoy posting every day. At the same time, I may balance them out with threads that provoke our thoughts... Stay tuned.
