Anything with furries.
It's easier to picture it as another anthropological custom such as some primitive mask of the voodoo doctors, or something like that. It's more possible to understand it as a sort of human outgrowth of some deep evolutionary desire to dress like a spirit animal or something.
But pull up one internet thread and encounter one wild, unironic, uwu, and -- Gah. No thank you!

I know a lot of those folks are also autistic, but there's something about the fursuits-and-waifu-pillows side of autism culture that I just don't want any part of.

To give you the basics, furries are people who are into animal/human hybrids (can be dogs that behave like humans, or a human with some cat traits and a tail, and anything inbetween). It can be for sexual reasons, or it can be because they like the idea of it, or the "softness" of fur. Some of them attend conventions where they wear large fur suits.@Misery -
