Some people say that a picture is worth a 1000 words.

If I tried I could maybe write a thousand words about the picture
in Post #1, but I still wouldn't know what the picture is about.

Sure, I see a baby.
But I don't know the significance of the picture.

Dad, come back. The baby grabbed your keyboard

My house is "dogproofed" because I have one super intelligent dog that can both open AND close doors, so I usually crate my dogs if I have to leave the house, because otherwise I will come home to find that Enzo has let all the other dogs out, or trapped them in the bedroom.

I understand that it is done for privacy reasons, but the smiley right over his face really, really bugs me.

Look at that sweet little man. Your baby is big enough to get into things now? Mazel tov. Is he scooting around or full on crawling?

Medicines should be up high and in childproof containers. Best kept in a box in the top of the closet.
Cover all outlets
Tuck in all the cords
Curtain/miniblind pulleys should be out of reach
Knives at the back corner of the counter
Firearms locked in a safe
Buy and install childproof doorknob covers
If at a height he can reach, remove the knobs from the stove and oven when not in use
There are simple baby locks for the refrigerator
Sweep and Vacuum daily. Any little pebble or scrap of paper will go into the mouth.
Mop daily. The floor should be clean enough to eat off of (as that is what will happen)
Child locks on the laundry room door

Oh and most importantly, Talk to him. Just a constant running dialogue. In proper English. The more you talk to your baby, the more articulate they will be. Don't swear at all. The baby will learn those words and not know they are naughty.

Read to your baby a few times a day. Point to the characters. Point to the letters as you sound out the words.

I'm so happy for you. I love babies.

Lol. I don't know what happened there. Some kind of formatting issue with the browser I'm using

What I meant to say is he pulled himself up for the first time.
