Time to say Hi

Molly

Happily living inside my head
Hiya.

I've been lurking since March this year, and I am just beginning to find my voice now, guess I am really shy:oops:.

This is a fantastic forum, I can relate to most people here in some way which is very helpful to me and affirms I am not the only alien stuck on this strange planet.

I have been officially diagnosed with Aspergers, ten years ago now, and I live in the north east of England, UK. Happily by myself with my two best friends, my dogs, so technically, I am not by myself:D. I work from home and I write Kindle books, have written and published over 600 now, and teach photography and Photoshop among other things, and I love photography and playing with my I mac. I love nature and especially the beach, which I visit every day.

Every day is a struggle, but I take it all one step at a time and try not to be to overwhelmed by life. I am early 50s and feel like a kid inside and I am fitter and slimmer than I have ever been in my life thanks to my two companions who love life and are totally insane lol in a good way.

We have already "met" and I so appreciate you responding to my thread regarding, social situations akin to going for that first interview.

You have a lot to "give" in this forum.

I did not realise you were a newbie and so very much welcome.

Aww, thanks for all the lovely welcomes. I am so glad I took the plunge to introduce myself. I like the welcome graphics, thank you very much:).

Ha, @Kirsty @Sabrina . Thanks to my `special interest' I wrote over 1,500 PDFs teaching Photoshop, PSP, GIMP and photography and I am currently now publishing them as Kindle books - publishing is the easy part as I've already written them - it took 8 years of constant writing to complete them, ha, it nearly finished me off but I am glad I did it. Probably wouldn't have done it if I wasn't an aspie and had a husband who gave me the encouragement and solitude needed to lock myself away and write.

hi @Fridgemagnetman and @Streetwise I am from the other side of the river, Tynemouth but for my sins, I am a Mackem in that I have always followed SAFC - unfortunately:p. Aww, four cats, that's lovely, I adore cats, had 7 at one point in my life as well as two dogs at the time. It was a madhouse but I loved it.

Thanks @Suzanne I am so glad I've stopped lurking and that I am contributing now, thanks for saying that:), I am sure my life experiences can help others understand more about our differences and struggles.

With a mouth as big as tynemouth,as they say :)

not sure if they say that in tynemouth and quite sure it doesn't apply to you directly!

Lol, definitely not like my mouth unless I am at a footy match and my team's losing  but yes, 'mouth the size of the Tyne' is a local saying:D.

Welcome, Molly!
Those 600 ebooks sure are impressive, even if they were written over several years. It's actually very inspiring, with all of our special interests...

Hi @Streetwise lol, of course I can:)

I've posted them in the pets photo page, hope the link works. Ha, I was stopped at 10 uploads which is just as well as I have thousands and thousands of pet photographs:p...and couldn't decide which ones to post.

Have you posted your pets', you must have, I'll have a look...I see you have a gorgeous mainly black cat from your profile picture.

@Katleya ha, I wouldn't know what to do without my special interests keeping me focused and busy :).
