But do you think tweety could have been a girl and had a pink bow?
And was really sweet but occasionally went psychopath when confronted with Sylvester
I mean I hate always how girls are portrayed as weak a lot anyway depending in the show.
She could be sweet, delicate and occasionally have a vindictive side. She could be both sweet at times then like her true colours come out.
I think she is so cute it would have been cute to see her with a little bow and in feminine outfits.

Personality and identity

Despite the perceptions that people may hold, owing to the long eyelashes and high-pitched voice (which Mel Blanc provided), Tweety is male[6][7][8] although his ambiguity was played with. For example, in the cartoon "Snow Business",[9] when Granny entered a room containing Tweety and Sylvester she said: "Here I am, boys!" Another confirmation that Tweety is male comes from the cartoon Greedy For Tweety in which during a hospital stay, Granny (portrayed as a nurse) utters "Oh the poor little Tweety bird, let's makes him a little more comfortable," as she adjusts his bed. Nonetheless, a 1952 cartoon was entitled Ain't She Tweet [emphasis added]. Also, his species is ambiguous; although originally and often portrayed as a young canary, he is also frequently called a rare and valuable "tweety bird" as a plot device, and once called "the only living specimen". Nevertheless, the title song of The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries directly states that he is a canary. His shape more closely suggests that of a baby bird, which is what he was during his early appearances (although the "baby bird" aspect has been used in a few later cartoons as a plot device). The yellow feathers were added, but otherwise he retained the baby-bird shape.

I always liked Tweety Pie, although they were mean to Sylvester. I like cats of course I'm biased. I always wanted them to be friends when I saw the cartoons as a kid.

I always thought Tweety was a girl. I remember when I saw scenes where it was implied Tweety was male, I always thought it was confusing.

Anyway, I think we just need to get Sylvester some nice treats and interesting toys and he won't want to chase Tweety any more! :-)

Tweety is a boy, I've known that for many years, ever since I was a kid.

In Tiny Toon Adventures there was a character named Sweetie Bird. She was a girl, she was pink and wore a bow on her head. But she was pretty mean and devious, not unlike Tweety in his earlier cartoons.
