Using the forum on phones

Hi. Do you use the forum regularly on a phone? Do you just use your phone browser or is there some other way like an app?

If you are using an Android, you can use the Progressive Web App (more information: XF 2.2 - Progressive web app). However, unless things have changed since Xenforo brought out the PWA, iOS still needs to implement the industry standard for this to work on your phone, so you'll need to log in using your browser.

Thank you. I like to think I'm technically literate, so I think I'm missing something very obvious. That link seems to explain what the app is and how to set up your forum to make it compatible, but from my end as a user - is that an app I need to download and install on android, and then I can access the forum with it?

They never did for me, and I'm on my phone on here 99% of the time as well. Just happen to be on my laptop right now.

Kind of funny how I figured out how to use this site on mobile... I was away on a day trip (I think this was autumn 2021) and I didn't have my laptop with me, and I really wanted to check notifications on here, so I figured out that I could just log in on my phone. I've been doing that every day since
