Using words to Describe People

So I'm an amateur writer, and I'm writing a novel at the moment, but I've noticed a problem. I have no idea if it's related to my aspergers or not, but I can't use words to describe how my characters appear. I know what they look like, and I can imagine it in my mind, but I can't work out the words to describe them. Can someone give me a link to a site or something where they explain what all of the different adjectives and whatnot mean.

This kind of sounds like you're asking to see
a dictionary of descriptive words.

This has words that describe, but it doesn't offer explanations.

Here is a page that explains what the words mean, but
they aren't particularly visual.
100 Exquisite Adjectives

This site is very inclusive, offering words that describe lots of
things...people, colors, taste, movement..etc.

It's not necessary to describe a character head to toe.
Catching the outstanding features/attributes is the
important thing, the aspects that illustrate the moment.
