I like to watch other people talk about how they were diagnosed. It's good to finally see myself in others, feel like I'm not the odd one out.

I was never diagnosed. Figured it out by accident, Even on this site I'm bit of an outlier. Have unusual skills that people like me do not normally join sites like this. My retirement got me to come here. Must admit great people here, many I would not have meet socially years ago unless I was part of a university alumni, or in contact with other experts in my speciality, joined a forum full of NT's in my area of expertise did not go well. Basically I helped a company whose main product had a competitor who did the same service at no cost. They now have a monopoly are See Elon Musk my mind is more like his. He would not join this site.

Watching videos about Asperger's/Autism is actually what helped me to finally start doing research into ASD in order to better understand myself.
Once in a blue moon the YouTube Algorithm will actually do a good thing, since it recommended me a video about autism one day.. I dunno why but I'm glad it did.

And I agree, the videos about Asperger's/Autism by people who are actually ND themselves are better than the ones that are done by NTs that are "experts" in the field. Since the ND creators live it, so they know Autism better than the NTs that are just observing Autism from the outside.

Between the videos, my research outside of YouTube, and my therapist I was able to better understand what my diagnosis means for me, and feel better about myself as it helped me realize that certain things were due to me being ND not "laziness" or anything else.
Okay maybe some laziness was involved but it wasn't purely laziness, it just became that because I was struggling and nobody was helping me so I guess I just gave up.

Oh and for those who might need it/be interested in it, here's a few ND YouTubers that talk about Autism/Asperger's that I found..
I'm Autistic, Now what?
Autism From the Inside
Orion Kelly - That Autistic Guy
The Aspie World

I'll admit though, I haven't watched any Autism/Asperger's videos lately but then I guess I've felt I don't need to anymore because I've found out quite a bit about it as is, plus I'm on here now so...

Know watching an very interesting guy who I suspect is on the spectrum likes to debunk other videos most notably
professors, He calls himself Metatron. Absolutely brutal critic calls it as he sees it amazing research. His name is Raffaello Urbani.
