First of all I think this is a great forum and applaud those who have put it together. I can see that it works really well at connecting people and provides a valuable soundboard for people to share common experiences. For people such as myself there are others on here who have many years of knowledge within the area to draw upon. It's also a great resource for debate.

Unfortunately I am terrible at these online things. Communicating in text feels quite alien to me and I struggle to make connections with people this way. I enjoy and feel compelled to write about what I think on subjects but it can come across in a very idiosyncratic and offputting way. I sometimes delete posts I have wrote after reading them again later.

I'm ducking out of the forum for these reasons but would like to wish everybody all the best. Keep up the good work! :-)
