What are all the airports you remember flying through?

I was wondering, what are all the airports you have remembered flying through?

I probably don't have a full list because there are some airports that I was probably too young to remember, but here is a near-complete list:

ABQ - Albuquerque International Sunport
ATL - Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
BQN - Rafael Hernandez Airport (Aguadilla, PR)
CLT - Charlotte/Douglas International Airport
CVG - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport
DAL - Dallas Love Field
DEN - Denver International Airport
DFW - Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
EWR - Newark International Airport
FLL - Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport
HNL - Honolulu International Airport
HOU - Houston Hobby Airport
IAH - Houston Intercontinental Airport
JFK - New York John F. Kennedy International Airport
LAS - Las Vegas International Airport
LAX - Los Angeles International Airport
LIH - Lihue Airport
MCO - Orlando International Airport
MIA - Miami International Airport
ORD - Chicago O'Hare International Airport
ORF - Norfolk International Airport
PDX - Portland International Airport
PHX - Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
SEA - Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
SFB - Orlando Sanford Airport
SFO - San Francisco International Airport
SJU - Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (San Juan, PR)
SLC - Salt Lake City International Airport
STL - St. Louis International Airport
TPA - Tampa International Airport

I have also been to PHF (Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport in Newport News, VA), but never to catch a flight myself, only to drop off and pick up family. I have also waited before and drove several times by AZA (Phoenix/Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa, AZ), but never flown out of there.

Wow that's a lot of flying. I've only flown once as an adult (well, twice in one day) from San Diego to assist a family member to Oakland and then right back.

Can't recall all of them. It would take too much time to recall. And a few of them I was never supposed to be there anyways...lol. Though Dulles Airport will always be my favorite. Philadelphia my least favorite.

Landing at O'Hare (CHI) was interesting one time, as we got to see the airport fire department come out to greet us. (The front landing gear was on fire as we hit the tarmack.)

Landing in Minneapolis MN. was ugly...one too many lightning strikes. Our plane was taken out of service.

And landing in Burbank Ca. was always interesting. But hey...I survived. Whooooosh! A very sudden drop and land.

Somehow I never experienced a 70s hijacking. Would have enjoyed a side-trip to Cuba. But I did manage to fly to Washington DC sitting next to a Hollywood actor, Jack O'Halloran. He had some interesting tales to pass the time. (He was one of the evil villains in Superman II.)

Rome

That's all. It was one trip to and from Italy in 2001.

Too scared to do it ever again, but it was amazing seeing stuff from the air.

I forgot, we had a hour layover in Amsterdam when l flew to Finland. Like a 14 hour flight from New York.

That's a lot of hopping around the US!

Are you on or have you visited the Flyertalk forums? It's a forum dedicated to flying and air travel and if you're not already there, I'll think you'll like it.

Two Chicago ones:

Ohare: Frequent, I hate it. And the entire region that surrounds it.
Midway: not much better.

Two Florida ones:

Tampa: well, the weather is nice. Whoever came up with that stupid tram thing should be fired though. And covered in bees.
Sarasota: this is the only one that doesn’t suck, since it’s never full of 10 squillion idiots all at once. But it’s also extremely specific to one area that not many people go to. We try to use this airport when going to the island.

Also years ago I’d often find myself going to Washington DC for a convention there, heck if I know what the airport was called.

I’ve been on a lot of flights over the years. Like, a ton of them. But I’ve also got a memory like a cheese grater, so… those are the ones that I have enough memory of to at least be able to post about. Typically I ain’t gonna remember something like that if I’ve only been there once.

I can't remember the names of every single one of them, but I have been to a large portion of the US states and a few other countries, so, a lot. Lol

The ones I remember the most (in the US) are Logan International Airport in Massachusetts, TF Green in Rhode Island, Manchester New Hampshire, LAX in California, Kahului Airport in Maui, Hawaii, and the airport on the "Big Island", and also Honolulu, Hawaii, Atlanta Georgia, Chicago O'Hare, Orlando Airport and Sarasota in Florida, Salt Lake City Utah, Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and Dallas Texas.
I have been to a lot more but I don't remember because I was younger. I can't remember the names/acronyms of all of these lol so sorry if I messed any of them up.
I remember Atlanta and Kahului being my favorites for some reason. And LAX being my least favorite (extremely chaotic and I was also there at like 4am.)

I live pretty close to a major international airport too. It's directly across the harbor from me (but it's in the city which is a relatively long way away by car. Just super close by plane.)
The plane noise I get here at night is sometimes unbearable. And I find planes kind of frightening so living under a major flight path is kind of nerve-wracking.

I don't enjoy flying, but since traveling is one of my special interests, I just have to deal with it lol. I'm okay enough if I take a sedative, if it's a long flight.

My list is pretty short:
Rome,
Frankfurt am Main,
Madeira

That's it. All of my experience.
Landing approach on Madeira means the pilot has to land on a bridge partially crossing the ocean, I was scared!
Rome was a maze (and a bit dirty, I could throw away my suitcase afterwards).
Frankfurt was enormous and it made you feel like an ant.

LAX being my least favorite (extremely chaotic and I was also there at like 4am.)

I concur. The only thing I liked about LAX is that there's an airside shuttle bus for some of the terminals (TBIT/2/3) that's kind of neat.

I consider 737 in economy for more than 2 hours to be a special kind of torture. Noisy, cramped, and sometimes too warm.

Richmond Virginia is another one I just remembered. It will take me a while to remember them all but sometimes things pop into my head randomly. :D

Orlando has the shuttles too, and a train-type shuttle thing that goes in a tunnel. I thought the train was so fun, even as an adult! I always made sure I sat right in the back window so I could see the outside of the airport.
I was a teenager when I went to Disney World, and I wasn't very impressed with it, so I remember thinking that the shuttle train in the airport was more fun than any of the attractions at Disney

Funny to review the title of this thread and then recall some less-than-happy memories of me "flying through an airport", but only a foot or so above the ground. In the terminal- not on the tarmac.

Trying to connect with another flight that was supposed to be an hour later that was reduced to about eight minutes. Running through O'Hare like I was OJ Simpson in one of those Hertz Rent-A-Car commercials.

I guess these days if you trying running in an airport the TSA will try to tackle you.

Flying used to be fun...a long, long time ago- in a galaxy far, far away. :(

I'm sorry but the TPA tram comment got me. I grew up in Sarasota and I loved that thing when I was little. Now that I've ridden it as an adult, yeah, I kind of think the tram could be a regular corridor with the moving belt things. It's pretty short ride.
