I keep meaning to work my way through some various 'for dummies' books I've got on various things, but I never seem to have the time. :(

Lol. There's other tutorial books and what not in my closet and hundreds of magazines in the loft that I've not got around to reading completely. Meh :P.
Those are the ones next to my bed though, so they're fairly new :P.

I find having time to sit down and read a book virtually impossible. I'd rather be on the internet or in photoshop etc. You'd have to lock me in a room with white walls for me to actually get through a book I'm not very interested in, lol.

The Humor Code, McGraw & Warner
2nd time

A Time to Keep Silent, Whelan
Author used to live about 10 miles from here.
Maybe still does. brb
wikipedia lists date of birth as 1923. No date of death.

Yesterday I extracted all the similes from
The Hobgoblin Proxy, Petty.
There were 149.
The book was 153 pages long.

Hush, by J. Woodson

A girl and her family are relocated after
her father testifies that the shooting of
an unarmed teenager was inappropriate.

I thought it was going to be another
'kid goes mute' story. I wasn't looking
for another; it just would have been a
coincidence because A Time to Keep Silent
did have that for a plot.
