What have you asked for for Christmas?

Me? I've asked for an Amazon Echo, just told Dad that it's "Black Friday" next week so they're £20 cheaper than normal, he says he'll sort it.

I might get myself a couple of cheap games if there's anything I actually want, also got to see what my Brother's kids want this year whether it's Lego or Xbox games or even something completely different.

Anyone else decided yet?

I asked my mom for a nice set of tea towels. My boyfriend and I tend to just exchange food. I'm buying him a giant can of chili beans and a turnip. Everyone else gets tea and chocolate.

I might be asking for a Nintendo Switch console or just a pile of sketchbooks for sketching and drawing. I'm...easily entertained. The console might need to wait since I'm still busy in school.

a petticoat and lolita skirt, video games, not much really. although me and my family are going away for christmas so there might be cool stuff i find while on vacation.

Every time someone asks me this one I always think back to my childhood, when the question actually freaking mattered. It not mattering nowadays isnt a "because I'm an adult" sort of reason, it's more, hmmm... I'll put it this way: When you can buy whatever you want just because you've been bored for 10 minutes, the satisfaction of getting anything new vanishes really quickly. And chances are, if there's something specific I want, I already went and bought it.

I know my mom in particular will ask me this question about 50 billion times over the next month (even moreso because my birthday is coming up) and all I really have is "I dont know" or "whatever you want to buy". But she wants specifics. I also know her budget for this sort of thing is limited, so... I kinda have trouble with the idea of asking for anything. Usually it ends up being something within one of my two non-gaming hobbies.

No, the real question for me is: What will I get everyone else for Christmas? The search for the right gifts takes me bloody forever. I end up wandering all sorts of places in my quest to find suitable things to get. All of my family members and such are the "really difficult to buy for" sorts. And I dont want to get them something that's just going to sit in some corner of the house unused.

I actually think the satisfaction of getting the gifts for them has sort of replaced the childhood satisfaction of getting them when it was time to open presents. Also I tend to like wandering the stores and malls when the Christmas "atmosphere" is up. There's something special about that.

I've asked for warm socks, and binoculars.

I saw Santa today. He was at the photo processor at the pharmacy with Mrs. Santa. While they seemed to be blending in as somewhat typical Montanans, I knew otherwise.

I've asked my parents (Mum really, Dad doesn't do any of the Christmas shopping) for clothes, because you can never have too many. Husband I asked for a headset for the PS4. Other than that, people will just get me something they think I'll like. Nine times out of ten they get it right.
