What is real love? I have been asking myself this for years now. I haven't quite figured out what love is. Can anyone elaborate on what love actually is? How do people portray love to each other? Is love important?

I really need some answers to this and I can't seem to figure it out through my research, so if anyone could answer the above questions, that would be very helpful.
