Green/hazel eyes.

“Sexy?” Absolutely not lmao, I am about as un-sexy as someone could possibly be. I actually don’t think anyone has ever even used that word to describe me.

“Creative,” yes.

Weird that half of the respondents so far (myself included) have green eyes. I say "weird" because my understanding is that only 2% of the population have green eyes. They're rare. Not here though?

My grandmother and my dad argued if my eyes were blue or green. It's that funny color that can kinda of go both ways. The drivers license says green, depending on what color l am wearing. My grandmother had beautiful grey eyes. Interesting we have so many green eyes, maybe they should do eye color surveys of those who are on the spectrum. My eyes replicate the ocean sea blue green color is the best description.

Green eyes are an indicator of Celtic or Germanic ancestry.
Green eyes on women are considered by men to be the most attractive of all the eye colors.
Unlike brown or blue eyes, green eyes don't show up right away in children.
It takes between six months to three years for green eyes to develop.
Both parents with green eyes: 75% chance of baby with green eyes, 25% of baby with blue eyes, ...
People with green eyes have a bit more melanin than people with blue eyes.
In the absence of a lot of melanin, Rayleigh scattering happens.
The green color is from a combination of a blue hue from Rayleigh scattering and "yellow" from the yellow pigment called
The higher the melanin concentration in the iris, the darker the eye color will be.
One reason green eyes are so rare, globally speaking, is because they are a result of harmless genetic mutation.

But mine are turquoise. Yet, I've always been told they were blue. I hope I'm not getting a glaucoma.

^Interesting that it seems to reflect “Celtic” ancestry, because I was always told that I have dark hair and green eyes because I’m Latina. Apparently that hair/eye color combination is more common in Argentina.

I can’t say for sure but I am very doubtful that I have any Celtic ancestry.
Germanic, possibly, but I have no idea.

Interesting note on eye colour, I think it's more to do with ancestral climate than anything else - Tasmanian aboriginal peoples all have blue eyes.

So did Thulsa Doom.

Thulsa Doom is the main antagonist in the 1982 movie Conan the Barbarian, played by James Earl Jones. He is an immortal sorcerer with the power to transform into an enormous snake.

Blue/green/gray/something. I've been told my eyes are any color that isnt brown, depends on who is saying it, but when I actually look in the mirror I mostly just see gray-ish there. Just a very pale sort.

Spanish/Portuguese are Celts.

The Celtic people originated in Central Asia, and moved west. First settling in the fertile crescent, in and around modern-day Turkey. Ever hear of The Book of Galatians? They were a Gaelic tribe.

They moved further west, during ancient times, into Central Europe, before mainly settling in The Iberian Peninsula.

It was much later that they invaded The British Isles.

I'm also in the green league although it's dark green with some specks of other colours like brown and grey. My eyes used to be light grey when I was a baby- but clearly not blue. All women on my mother's side have this colour.

The Celts were all over Central Europe, there are excavation sites where I live. The ancestors of modernday Europeans from Western Asia also spotted green eyes. Europe is a lot more mixed than people think- since ancient times. I also know some people with tan skin and pitch black hair in Germany without any recent ancestors from other countries. And my father had kinky curly hair- dark brown with a reddish hue.

Exactly same here, but do you know why that could be? Gray eyes can turn blue or greenish depending on the lighting or changes in mood, or from changes in clothing from what I saw. Mine look often gray but sometimes blue, bluish gray, bluish green. So, I think what I read could be true.
