What song is stuck in your head?

For me it's Lonely in Your Nightmare by Duran Duran. After Ruennsheng created a thread on Duran Duran I decided to listen to the Duran Duran album Rio (one of my favorite albums from the 80s) and that song has been been stuck in my head ever since.

It's a very catchy song. I dare you to listen to it; I'm sure it'll be stuck in your head after you've listened to it:

[mp3]http://cl.ly/8iFW/03_-_Lonely_In_Your_Nightmare.mp3[/mp3]

Even on the darkest night when empty promise means empty hand
And soldiers coming home like shadows turning red
When the lights of hope are fading quickly
Then look to me
I'll be your homing angel, I'll be in your head.

Because you're lonely in your nightmare let me in.
And there's heat beneath your winter let me in.

I see the delta traces living lonely out on the limb.
And a passing glimmer warm beneath your skin
Please tread gently on the ground when all around you earth turns to fire
Only get a second chance when danger's on the wind.

Because you're lonely in your nightmare let me in.
Because there's heat beneath your winter
Let me in.

Must be lucky weather when you find the kind of wind that you need
C'mon show me all the light and shade that made your name
I know you've got it in your head
I've seen that look before
You've built your refuge
Turns you captive all the same

Because you're lonely in your nightmare let me in...
And it's barren in your garden let me in.
Because there's heat beneath your winter
Let me in.
Because you're so lonely in your nightmare
Let me in.
And it's cold out on your stone range let me in.
Because there's heat beneath your winter let me in.

Do, do-do, do do do do

Do, do-do, do do do do

Do you often get songs stuck in your head? Do you currently have a song stuck in your head? If so, post it here. :)

For me, the song on my head is 'Don't Look Back In Anger'.

Slip inside the eye of your mind
Don't you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that you'd once never been
All the things that you've seen
Will slowly fade away

So I'll start the revolution from my bed
Cos you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside the summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out

So Sally can wait, she knows its too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away, but don't look back in anger I hear you say

Take me to the place where you go
Where nobody knows if it's night or day
Please don't put your life in the hands
Of a Rock n Roll band
Who'll throw it all away

So I'll start the revolution from my bed
Cos you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside the summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out

So Sally can wait, she knows its too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away, but don't look back in anger I hear you say

Don't look back in anger
Don't look back in anger
Don't look back in anger
At least not today

I like Oasis only from the moment they split. Before they split, they were just a pop rock group on radio.

I didn't know they're great until I learnt that Oasis is all about a talented brother duo, who does nothing but write and perform pop songs about love, relationships and feelings.

I also love Duran Duran, but maybe I can share a DD song later on my mind, somewhere.

Blaydon Races.

This is the regional song of their home. It's the Waltzing Matilda and Yankee Doodle of North East England.

I've had this song stuck in my head since last night. I love it.

Ridiculous how catchy this song became. Keeps popping in my head randomly.

Currently this (admittedly, it's kind of self-inflicted):

It's a video that puts silly "mondegreen" English lyrics to a song from the Dutch kids' show Kabouter Plop.

I came across this on YouTube yesterday evening:

Save the world with underpants!

Never really cared about that band and knew only this song, but listening to it about 10 years later I actually like the vocals. And it's been in my head since yesterday

As long as I see anything related to Suede, it's also stuck on my head. I grew to like it - they're not just the guys singing 'The Beautiful Ones'. They're also icons of the 1990's

Well, not neccesarily stuck in my head anymore... but I dreamed about this song... woke up went back to sleep and the song started again... and that kinda happened about 5 times in a row last night. That was kinda weird...

I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley, to do Black Music so selfishly
and use it to get myself wealthy (Hey)
there's a concept that works
20 million other white rappers emerge
but no matter how many fish in the sea it'd be so empty without me

--- This is why, after Nirvana, I struggled to find great musicians. There were too many bands, too many singers - but now the growth of new music groups grew so much faster than the growth of the population listening to music as a whole that the last time a music group or act has a common rallying point based on their fresh style of music or message, it was the time 2Pac/Nirvana made their debut major label album.

This song, Without me by Eminem, is now stuck in my head. Eminem brings hip hop to all, but then, his message is repeated by Oasis. I like both Oasis and Eminem, but they do admit they're influenced by the Beatles/Elvis or other Detroit rappers.

Nevertheless, after Beatles/MJ/Elvis/Queen/Nirvana/some 80's bands, which is like 9 in total, Eminem is indeed my 10th favorite musical artiste. He isn't really 'great' as what I heard, but he's very, very good.

And what Eminem wears, as a style, I try to emulate :D

This... mind you, not the beginning and end, I haven't had the "luck" of having Mariah Carey in my head... but pretty much the part after 0;26

The Kinks - Death of a Clown

[mp3]http://api.cld.me/C4i7/download/02%20-%20Death%20Of%20A%20Clown.mp3[/mp3]

My makeup is dry and it cracks 'round my chin
I'm drowning my sorrows in whisky and gin
The lion tamer's whip doesn't crack anymore
The lions they won't bite and the tigers won't roar

La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
So let's all drink to the death of a clown
Won't someone help me to break up this crown
Let's all drink to the death of a clown
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Let's all drink to the death of a clown

The old fortune teller lies dead on the floor
Nobody needs fortunes told anymore
The trainer of insects is crouched on his knees
And frantically looking for runaway fleas

La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Let's all drink to the death of a clown
So won't someone help me to break up this crown
Let's all drink to the death of a clown
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
Let's all drink to the death of a clown
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
